Changing directions and learning new things can throw road blocks at you and sometimes it makes you want to just quit and say it's all too much. All of us have these situations and can either move forward or just give up.

Choices

OK you can just say that it is all too hard and just give up and move on to whatever, but you will never know how close to success you really were. Many have taken that road and may have missed out on their total success and dreams of doing what they have a passion for. It's the easy way and most will always take the easy way and avoid the road blocks.

Some call it the realistic way or whatever term they want to use to validate their choice to give up. What is it about those who just refuse to give up and move towards their goals and as many say are relentless in their pursuit to reach the mountain top? Is it something inside them that most do not have or is it a choice?

Success Or Failure

Failure is a choice? What that means is that we choose to be safe and not take chances and make excuses about our choices. We can go turn on the TV and watch while others succeed and think we have tried and it's just not for us, but it is a choice and you just made it by taking the easy road to avoid the road blocks.

We can all relate to professional sports and we may think that they have a God given talent and some may have, but there are many who must work at it in order to compete at that level and those are the ones most like ourselves. We are the ones who must work at it in order to just be able to maintain our level of success.

Yes there are the ones who are just simply super stars and seem to effortlessly be able to leap over any road blocks that are in their way, but there are many more that face the same things in life as we do on a daily basis. These are not the super stars, but the regular people who make up the bulk of the success in sports and many of us do not even know who they are, but they are there working daily just as we do.

They had a choice just as we do and chose to move forward and try! These are the ones that have those special days and for just one game one play they made that super play and yes we get to watch, but then when the play or the game ends they go back to work and there another road block is for them and they have the choice again.

Decision Time

Do you think that by just making the decision to go forward it is going to be any easier? Well let me just say that simply to make a decision is the first step and road blocks may get even worse, but if you go back and think why you made the decision to move forward then it may just help you move on and face the road blocks and defeat them, even if it's just for the day.

Others will watch you and may not say anything, but will know you are facing the road blocks in life and defeating them. There may be days, weeks or years of knocking that stuff out of the way, but then you come to a day and will ask yourself why am I doing this and why is this road block so big? Then you have to remember that you have a choice and ????
